B2B Brand of the Year honors a brand that has won the devotion of clients and customers through innovative marketing and advertising practices. Our Brand of the Year will have made a demonstrable impact on business and financial performance (securing new clients, retaining existing business, generating revenue and profit, creating new avenues of business) as well as brand reputation in the past year. Whenever possible, examples of campaigns and initiatives should be offered.

B2B Agency of the Year honors an agency that has shown exceptional talent, creativity and ingenuity in the past year. The agency’s innovativeness must have either secured new clients, retained existing clients, generated revenue or other business outcomes for a client or created new avenues of business for the agency. Whenever possible, examples of innovation should be offered.

B2B Campaign of the Year recognizes an individual or institution that has demonstrated innovative and creative thinking and exceptional execution of a campaign in the past year. The campaign should introduce new paradigms, challenge current paradigms, look at existing challenges and opportunities from new perspectives, or exhibit other uniquely creative qualities. Submissions must include details about media and advertising strategy and cite evidence of impact and effectiveness.

B2B Event of the Year Award honors innovativeness in the conceptualization, production and execution of B2B marketing events around the world. Events must be a proprietary marketing event at which external customers (other businesses, partners, or consumers) or members of the media are the target audience. Submissions must cite evidence of impact and effectiveness.

B2B Thought Leadership Content Award recognizes an institution that has demonstrated innovation in the conceptualization, development, and execution of content-led B2B marketing strategy. Critically, the content and content-led strategy must have improved overall marketing performance and business outcomes. Submissions must cite examples of innovativeness in content development and strategy as well as evidence of impact and effectiveness. Eligible content may be text-based (articles, reports, social posts), video or audio (podcasts). Please include links to the content.

Individual/Team Categories

B2B Thought Leadership Content Award recognizes an individual or institution that has demonstrated innovation in the conceptualization, development, and execution of content-led B2B marketing strategy. Critically, the content and content-led strategy must have improved overall marketing performance and business. Submissions must cite examples of innovativeness in content development and strategy as well as evidence of impact and effectiveness. Eligible content must be published or self-published written content, including but not limited to articles, blogs, reports, e-books, and PowerPoint presentations.

B2B Tech Innovator Award highlights an individual that has deployed new and emerging technologies (particularly artificial intelligence and machine learning) to improve marketing performance or business outcomes. Submissions must include examples of the technology used and evidence of impact and effectiveness.

B2B ABM Innovator Award honors an individual that innovatively used account-based marketing (ABM) to drive tangible business outcomes. Submissions must include examples of the ABM techniques and practices used and evidence of impact and effectiveness.

B2B Next-Gen Team Award highlights a marketing-agency unit, cross-functional group and/or interorganizational team that has created and implemented innovative programs, practices, partnerships, policies and ways of working that improve a brand or agency’s ability to achieve high performance. The Next-Gen Team can be composed of both marketers and agency representatives. Whenever possible, examples of the team’s structures and projects undertaken should be offered.
